2. How will Louisville football's new secondary look?

The Cardinal's most glaring hole on the team is their secondary. UofL lost four top defensive backs to either the NFL Draft or the transfer portal.

Louisville did add players from the portal, such as Justin Agu from Louisiana and Rodney Johnson Jr. from Southern University, but both players are making a big jump from the Group of 5 conference to the ACC. Their best transfer was Corey Gordon, who secured 25 tackles, three interceptions, and two pass breakups last season.

Louisville's secondary last season was their glaring weakness, and now it seems it might have gotten worse. Their secondary allowed 236.2 yards per game through the air, which placed No. 12 in the ACC and No. 100 in the nation.

The Cardinals' new secondary will have much to prove and must answer all the glaring questions surrounding it. They must also improve at forcing turnovers and giving up fewer yards through the air if this team wants to contend with Clemson and Miami.
