Louisville football recently landed its fifth Kentucky transfer of the 2026 offseason after Evan Wibberley committed late last night. The Cardinals have had one of the best-ranked offseasons in the nation, as On3 Sports ranks Jeff Brohm and Vince Marrow’s additions and recruiting from within as the fourth best in the nation.
The Cardinals continue to add former Wildcats this offseason, as their first transfer commitment was Cats defensive back DJ Waller, followed by defensive linemen Jacob and Jerod Smith. Recently, Louisville added two offensive players with the addition of wide receiver Montavin Quisenberry and center Evan Wibberley.
With the Cardinals landing Wibberley late last night, Louisville addresses a massive area of need. Louisville lost its starting center from 2025 in Pete Nygra, and with Wibberley being the latest Wildcat to join Louisville, he has a legitimate chance of starting in 2026.
