Louisville has added multiple wide receivers this offseason so far, but if the Cardinals want to go get some depth and try to develop a receiver, David Washington Jr. might not be a bad option. The former 3-star recruit out of high school ranked No. 16 out of Pennsylvania in the 2024 recruiting class and ranked No. 132 among all wide receivers.

The redshirt freshman committed to Kentucky after earning 11 offers and chose the Wildcats over Michigan State, Virginia, Wisconsin, Syracuse, and others. He logged an impressive 30 catches for 561 yards and six touchdowns in his senior season and went on to be ranked No. 938 in the nation.

With Louisville losing numerous key wide receivers from last season and losing multiple receivers after next season, Washington emerges as someone Brohm and Deion Branch can develop over the year and turn into a key receiver in 2027 and beyond.
