Louisville football hired Vince Marrow from Kentucky this past summer, and now the duo of him and Jeff Brohm are trying to dominate the state of Kentucky on and off the field. The Cardinals have outscored Kentucky 82-14 over the last two games, and this offseason, Louisville has been landing Kentucky transfers left and right.
With Marrow on Louisville’s side now, the Cardinals have landed five transfers from Kentucky. The Cardinals' offseason began with the addition of DJ Waller, then Jacob and Jerod Smith on Tuesday, and yesterday, Louisville added two Kentucky wide receivers, Montavin Quisenberry and Hardley Gilmore IV.
Gilmore was the latest Kentucky transfer to commit to Louisville. He was a 4-star recruit out of high school and was ranked No. 317 in the 2024 recruiting class. His is a sophomore receiver and logged 28 catches for 313 yards and one touchdown last season for the Cats.
The Wildcats have seen 21 players enter the portal, and seven of them are still available. So, with five of Louisville’s 17 commitments coming from Kentucky, it is only fitting to start thinking who could be next. With Marrow clearly having faith in his former commits he recruited to Kentucky, here are three Kentucky transfers who could commit to Louisville football next.
