1. Troy Stellato | WR
With Louisville already landing two wide receiver commitments from Kentucky, it feels like one more could follow. Troy Stellato is a former Kentucky Wildcat who entered the portal after spending one season with the Cats and his first three seasons with Clemson.
Brohm and Marrow have shown early on this offseason that they have confidence in their ability to get the most out of former 4-star recruits. Stellato is ranked as high as No. 1176 on the portal and No. 176 among receivers in the Transfer Portal, but he has shown he can be reliable on the field during his three years with Clemson.
Stellato ranked No. 403 in the portal last offseason and the 66th-best receiver after earning 66 catches for 616 yards and two touchdowns with Clemson. He had two productive seasons with Clemson, earning 39 catches for 337 yards and one touchdown his sophomore season and 25 catches for 264 yards and one touchdown his junior season. Stellato was a former 4-star recruit who ranked No. 178 in the 2021 recruiting class and was the 30th-best receiver. He went on to commit to Clemson over Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame, Texas, Miami, Michigan, Louisville, and others.
Now, he is in the portal, and with Louisville needing depth at the wide receiver position, he opens up as a prime target for the Cardinals.
