3. Taron Dickens
Louisville football lost three players to the portal this offseason, including Deuce Adams, who recently committed to Wisconsin. The Cards lost four quarterbacks in total, with Miller Moss running out of eligibility, forcing Jeff Brohm to turn to the portal for the position. With the Cards having to address their QB depth, Brohm landed Lincoln Kienholz and Davin Wydner, but might want to try to get another QB if possible.
Someone Louisville has been in contact with is the elite FCS transfer quarterback, Taron Dickens. The Western Carolina transfer is coming off a historic season as his 38 passing touchdowns are the most in Southern Conference and Western Carolina history. On top of that, his 39 total touchdowns, 3,508 passing yards, 38 passing touchdowns, and 425.4 passing yards per game were the most in the NCAA last season.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound quarterback is ranked as the No. 58 quarterback and the No. 978 overall transfer in the Transfer Portal.
