Louisville basketball is set to make its highly anticipated debut this Friday in its first preseason game against the No. 19 Kansas Jayhawks. Entering the season, the nation has its eyes on Pat Kelsey and the Louisville Cardinals, thanks to his incredible offseason.

Kelsey was able to grab three elite players from the Transfer Portal. Everyone is talking about how exciting it will be to see Ryan Conwell, Adrian Wooley, and Isaac McKneely make their debut, as these three are a key reason why Louisville is getting the hype it is.

However, last year, the Cardinals had some flaws and weaknesses, but perhaps their biggest one was their frontcourt, which lacked size and depth in that area. Louisville had to rely heavily on J'Vonne Hadley and James Scott, but this year it is much different.

The Cardinals' frontcourt has flown under the radar, and entering the 2025-26 season, this unit is going to surprise many fans. So, after a year of the frontcourt being one of Louisville's biggest weaknesses, here are three players who will address the main issue that killed them last season.
