Khani Rooths
As the season progressed, Louisville fans had one player on their radar the entire season, Khani Rooths. Louisville fans made it clear they want the former 4-star back in the Cardinals uniform, and with Kelsey officially suffering his first portal loss, the Cardinals fans are hoping Rooths isn’t next.
Rooths committed to Louisville back in the 2024 recruiting class, where he ranked as high as No. 38 in the class and No. 6 among power forwards. The 6-foot-10, 215-pound forward has tons of potential, but he needs to earn consistent minutes, as he played just 13.4 minutes per game as a freshman and 15.9 minutes per game as a sophomore.
With Rooths likely not getting the roles he would have liked his first two years, he is quickly on transfer watch. The former 4-star averaged 5.3 points and 4.3 rebounds, while shooting 45 percent from the field last year.
