1. Khani Rooths

Khani Rooths is one of the Cardinals' key 4-stars returning from last season. Rooths was Louisville's top 2024 commitment, as he was ranked as a consensus top 40 recruit in the cycle.

The D.C. native will be just a true sophomore next season, and while he is expected to take a leap forward, it is also becoming clear that the Cardinals are running out of minutes on the court. Now, it is unclear who will get more time, who will start, and what the depth chart will look like, but after Zougris's commitment, Rooths will have to battle for his minutes.

Rooths and Zougris are the same height, but the Greek forward does have 15 pounds on Rooths. Rooths will most likely earn the minutes at first, but it is a situation to keep an eye on as the two forwards will compete for those bench minutes.

The Cardinals' fan favorite must have a tremendous offseason, as he will now have to earn his minutes and prove he should play over Zougris and Camara.
