2. J'Vonne Hadley

With Pryor now out for the start of the regular season, J'Vonne Hadley has to be aggressive on both ends of the floor and a team leader. Last year, Hadley stepped up and filled Pryor's shoes, and now that he has high expectations and everyone knows he can succeed at the power forward position, they are hopeful he can elevate his game even further.

Hadley led the team in rebounds last year, and through the two exhibition games, he might repeat that feat. Kelsey made it clear after the Bucknell game that he has full trust in Hadley and that the forward plays a massive role on this team, well beyond points and the number of shots taken.

Hadley is a stretch wing who can shoot from downtown and space the floor, while he also likes to attack the paint and finish with his soft touch. Defensively, he stepped up last year and was one of Louisville's best defenders, and with early struggles without Pryor, the Cardinals are going to need him to do that again.
