Louisville football fans recently learned freshman edge rusher CJ May will enter the portal, making him the 27th Cardinal to part ways with Louisville this offseason. The Cardinals have done an excellent job through the first week and a half of this portal season, adding 26 players and ranking No. 4 nationally in their offseason.
May was ranked as high as a 4-star commitment in the 2025 recruiting class and was regarded as the No. 487 recruit in the nation and ranked No. 44 among edge rushers. He was heavily recruited, committing to the Cardinals over elite programs like Notre Dame, Penn State, Georgia, Clemson, and others.
The Transfer Portal is open for just a couple more days, as any player who wants to enter the portal must submit their name before it closes on Friday, January 16.
