Louisville football fans are stoked about many of Louisville’s transfer additions, but one who is standing out is the 4-star transfer Brody Foley. The Tulsa transfer was a top-70 player in the portal when he committed and is still highly ranked, No. 81 overall and the No. 5-ranked tight end. He transferred to Louisville after earning seven touchdowns and 528 yards last season, suggesting he is set to be TE1 there.
With Foley likely TE1 for the Cardinals next season, Louisville fans are keeping a close eye on former 4-star recruit out of high school and TE1 last season, Jaleel Skinner. Cardinals fans saw Skinner take a huge leap last season when Nate Kurisky was battling injuries early on, and he went on to have a productive season, catching 21 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns.
With the Cardinals adding Foley and bringing in elite 4-star 2026 commit Julius Miles, Skinner is on transfer watch in these final few days. Louisville fans want him to be that elite tight end behind Foley, but if he wants to be TE1, he might be thinking about hitting the portal for the second straight season. He was a key contributor last season, earning the third most receptions on the team and the fourth most receiving yards.
