The No. 1 player Louisville fans await news from is star running back Keyjuan Brown. The sophomore made a huge leap last season after Isaac Brown and Duke Watson were injured. Keyjuan stepped up as an elite RB1, earning the second-most carries and rushing yards with 96 carries for 704 yards and six touchdowns.
The Cardinals, as of now, have one of the best running back rooms in the nation, having convinced Isaac to return and added former 4-star recruit out of high school and 4-star transfer Marquise Davis. However, with the addition of Davis and Isaac returning, Louisville fans immediatley began to wonder if that means Keyjuan is hitting the portal.
Well, Davis committed 10 days ago, and still no news or update on Keyjuan. The Transfer Portal closes this Friday, January 16, and until that portal is officially closed or he announces his decision, Louisville fans will be anxiously awaiting to see his decision. Last year, he showed how valuable he is when he ran for 94 yards or more in his final five games, including his last three games, where he ran 112 yards or more in all of them.
