2. Antonio Watts
A player who has incredibly high potential in Louisville's defensive coach Ron English's eyes is Antonio Watts. The junior linebacker logged 51 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, and a forced fumble last season, and now, with Clark out, Louisville fans are turning to him to be his replacement.
Watts earned high praise this fall camp from both defensive coaches as they believe he is quick like a safety, but covers like a cornerback. But at 6-foot-2, 225 pounds, he finds a home in the linebacker position and has the chance now to be a dominant force playing next to Quinn and company.
It will be hard to replace Clark's leadership and his ability to stop the run, but it is key that Watts steps up to the challenge and now takes that next step in his career. Louisville is high on the junior and his potential, but now Watts has to meet those expectations and be a star for Brohm's defense.
