The Louisville basketball program finally earned their first commitment of the 2026 class and it was a bit of a surprise. The Cardinals landed NBA G-League player London Johnson as he committed to the Cardinals after player in the G-League for three seasons.
Johnson will join the team mid-season and wont be available to make his debut until the 2026-27 season. The former 4-star commit was recruited at a high level as Alabama, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Tennessee and other all extended offers to him before he decided to bypass college and go the professional route.
He was ranked as high as No. 46 in the 2022 class and was the No. 8 combo guard in the class. So, now that Kelsey earned his point guard in the 2026 class it is time to think about how he will fit on this Louisville basketball squad.
