2. Khani Rooths

Khani Rooths is one of Kelsey's hidden gems on this roster, but next year the former 4-star recruit and top 35 recruit is expected to take the spotlight and make a massive jump. Rooths showed potential this past season as a true freshman, but with Louisville getting J'Vonne Hadley back and adding Ryan Conwell he won't get much opportunity to take that jump in 2025.

So, now with the former 4-star growing to 6-foot-10 and developing his jump shot, Johnson and Rooths should create a fun duo. Rooths is an athletic forward who can play small forward or power forward, and can spark the crowd with his athleticism. Johnson is a guard who likes to play calm and control the pace and the floor, and that fits perfectly with Rooths and his ablity to cut and find the open space on the court.

Rooths has a lot of bounce to him and loves to run the floor. With Johnsons ability to pass these two should work perfectly in transition but also in half court offense. Kelsey used Rooths as a cutter a lot last season and Johnson has the experience and the ability to find with Rooths in transition or when he cuts to the rim in the half-court offense
