1. Louisville basketball fills massive hole

The Cardinals' glaring remaining hole was their power forward position. Kelsey's offseason was worked to perfection as he went after the three best combo guards and earned their commitments to play next to Mikel Brown Jr. Afterward, he was trying to either land Nate Ament or Pryor.

Once Ament committed elsewhere, the Cardinals wanted Pryor back on this team. Pryor filled the Cardinal's glaring need for an experienced starter to help guide this lineup to a National Championship. Pryor fills many holes, as he will now improve the Cardinals' forward and center depth. Louisville wanted someone who could be their stretch forward while also being a solid two-way player, and that is what Pryor will bring back to this program. The fifth-year senior will bring veteran leadership that can play multiple positions, score in various ways, defend at an elite level, and lead this team as a captain.

Louisville will get a 6-foot-10 fifth-year senior who averages more than a block and a steal per game, can shoot the 3-point ball, and will solidify this team as a legitimate National Championship contender. The return of Pryor means that the Cardinals will now have an elite 11-man rotation, with Pryor as their starting power forward.
