Amarri Monroe

The Cardinals' frontcourt was their biggest area of need this postseason, and if Louisville was to address a position, maybe improving its small forward position could have helped. Someone the Cardinals were in contact with last offseason during the Transfer Portal was Amarri Monroe.

The 6-foot-7, 220-pound small forward is an elite two-way player who could have helped Louisville on the defensive side of the ball, as he averaged 1.8 steals per game his sophomore season and 2.3 steals per game his junior and senior seasons.

He finished last year averaging 18.1 points on 40.7 percent from the field, and this year, while averaging less at 15.6 points per game, he shot the ball at a higher rate, 41.3 percent. With Louisville struggling on defense, especially in the frontcourt, someone like Monroe could have helped them advance.
