3. Chalil Cummings

Louisville football is looking to add pieces to its secondary, so the Cardinals are in contact with Purdue transfer Chalil Cummings. Louisville lost four of its top five pieces from its secondary from the 2025 season, including key cornerbacks Jabari Mack and Rodney Johnson Jr.

Cummings started his college career at Memphis after committing to the Tigers as a 3-star recruit out of high school. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound cornerback was an elite two-way player in high school, where he earned 83 tackles, seven pass breakups, and three interceptions on defense and 94 catches for 1,725 yards and 22 touchdowns on offense.

He went on to appear in five games for Memphis his true freshman season before transferring to Purdue. Last season, he earned three tackles and two pass breakups in three games for the Boilermakers. He ranks No. 1328 overall and No. 150 among cornerbacks.
