1. Mose Phillips III
One position the Cardinals are still trying to address is their safety room. The Cardinals have added key additions in Koen Entringer and Dylan Rowsey this offseason, and just learned Blake Ruffin will return for his final season. So, with Louisvilleās safety room looking pretty thin, the Cardinals reached out to a Missouri transfer, Mose Phillips III.
The 6-foot-5, 205-pound safety was a 3-star recruit out of high school and ranked No. 1,286 in the 2023 recruiting class and No. 111 among safeties. He committed to Virginia Tech over Georgia Tech, Tulane, and Virginia after logging four interceptions and one forced fumble his senior season. In his junior year, he recorded 70 tackles and 4 interceptions.
The junior safety started in 13 games and played in 25 for the Hokies, recording 92 tackles, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles, one interception, and one sack. His most productive season came in his sophomore year, when he logged 65 tackles, three pass breakups, one interception, one sack, and one forced fumble. Last season, he logged five tackles, one tackle for a loss, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble.
