Louisville's projected 2026-27 lineup is Final Four caliber and Pat Kelsey isn't done

Right now, Louisville’s offseason ranks as high as No. 1 overall in the nation, according to 247Sports, and it is clear Kelsey isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Louisville still needs to attack its bench and depth, and the Cardinals continue to reach out to new targets.

The Transfer Portal will close on Tuesday, April 21, so with players continuing to enter the portal, here are three new Transfer Portal entries that the Louisville Cardinals have reached out to.

Gabe Dynes

The Cardinals fans made it clear they want a better frontcourt next season, and Kelsey is going out and attacking another center to back up Bidunga. The Cardinals recently reached out to USC transfer Gabe Dynes, as Kelsey is trying to get another big-time rim protector.

The 7-foot-5, 215-pound center started his career at Youngstown State and emerged as one of the top rim protectors in his sophomore season. In his first two years with the Penguins, he logged a total of 165 blocks, including 104 in his sophomore season, which ranked No. 2 in Division I basketball. He averaged 3.1 blocks per game, which ranked third in Division I basketball, and then transferred to USC.

With USC, he averaged 2.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks while playing just 11.9 minutes per game. He ranks No.

Yaak Yaak

Staying with rim protectors and centers, Louisville basketball has also reached out to the Oregon State transfer Yaak Yaak. The former JUCO star averaged 10.6 points and 6.2 rebounds while he logged 50 blocks in just 27 games.

He shot 48.3 percent from the field for Colorado Mesa, and now Louisville appears to be one of the few teams to have reached out to him. The Cards are in a recruiting battle for Yaak with Indiana, USC, Memphis, and others. The 6-foot-11, 280-pound center averaged  6.6 points and 2.2 rebounds per game while shooting 51 percent from the field.

Devin Williams

Louisville basketball has reportedly reached out to former 4-star recruit Devin Williams. The former 2023 4-star ranked as high as No. 74 in the nation and No. 16 among power forwards in the 2023 cycle and committed to UCLA over USC, Texas Tech, San Diego State, and others.

He transferred to FAU after one season with the Bruins and is now back in the Transfer Portal after averaging 7.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 2.6 blocks per game. The 6-foot-10, 205-pound forward shot 51 percent from the field and made 15 3-pointers and shot 30.6 percent from beyond the arc. He ranks No. 242 overall in the portal and No. 31 among centers.
