Khani Rooths

Khani Rooths had a tough stretch to end his sophomore season, but with the Cardinals losing four starters this offseason, Kelsey should try to keep the former 4-star commitment. Rooths showed he can be a role player for the Cardinals, and while he isn’t going to go out and give you 20 points regularly, he is a physical forward with height and athleticism and can be a spark plug next season.

If he isn’t going out and asking for crazy money, Kelsey should 100 percent try to bring this sophomore back. The Cardinals showed they had a huge hole in their frontcourt, and with him as a 6-foot-10, 215-pound forward, Rooths could be a key small forward or power forward next season.

The 4-star sophomore has to be smarter with decisions, and if he wants to shoot as many 3’s as he does, he has to make improvements in his ability to knock them down. But, with the Cardinals losing J’Vonne Hadley and others Louisville should try to keep Rooths and help him take that next step.
