2. USF isn't as prepared as Louisville
On a more uplifting note for Louisville fans, South Florida doesn’t have the resume the Cardinals have. The Bulls have only played one ranked team this year in Alabama, and lost the bout. The Bulls have also lost other frightening games, like to Oklahoma State, which didn’t even get a bid to the NCAA Tournament.Â
This does have to do with the Bulls being in the American Conference, but nonetheless, they aren’t as prepared as the Cardinals are. Louisville was put up against some of the best teams in the nation week after week, and is prepared for the bright lights of March.Â
South Florida might have been super dominant in the American, but as said, it was the American. Louisville knows what it takes to beat a good team, and that should give the Cardinals the upper hand in this one.
