While Jeff Brohm and Vince Marrow are having one of the best offseasons in the nation, they have missed on a few players. Louisville football has successfully landed multiple elite players, including four 4-stars in Tre Richardson, Eryx Daugherty, Brody Foley, and Marquise Davis.
But, it is nearly impossible to bat 1.000 in the Transfer Portal, and the Cardinals did strike out a few times on some top targets that would have made an immediate impact in 2026. It is worth noting that while Louisville might have missed these targets, they were able to bounce back, find other targets, and earn those commitments, avoiding a costly loss.
