2. DL Joshua Donald (Houston)
The Cardinals lost a lot of talent on the interior of their defensive line. Louisville had to go and replace Jordan Guerad and Rene Konga, while they also lost key backups in Jerry Lawson and Denzel Lowry. One of the Cardinals' additions from the portal this offseason is Houston transfer Joshua Donald.
While Donald didn't play last season, he did play the year prior at Appalachian State. Louisville needs Donald and the other interior defensive linemen to step up to allow the Cardinals' edge rushers to get more freedom and take over like they did last year. Donald played nose tackle at Appalachian State, where he recorded 32 tackles, 3.0 sacks, and 1 forced fumble.
