4. Griffin Scroggs
Someone possibly worth taking a look at is the former Georgia commit and Appalachian State transfer, Griffin Scroggs. With Louisville in need of some offensive linemen depth and some help at the center position, Scroggs emerges as one of the best options.
He hasn’t earned much playing time in his college career, but the former 3-star recruit out of high school has the talent, as he was ranked No. 5 among centers in the 2022 class and was invited to the 2022 All-American Bowl. He started his career at Georgia and earned a lot of experience after winning the National Championship with the Bulldogs, and then went on to Appalachian State, where he has logged some special teams snaps.
He committed to Georgia as the No. 782 recruit in the nation and is now ranked No. 1,102 overall, No. 78 among interior offensive linemen and is the seventh best IOL available. The Cardinals took a major blow from losing Church, and while Scroggs might not fill Church’s position, he would fill a huge hole at center and provide much-needed depth.
