The Louisville Cardinals just secured their sixth addition for next season, as Mouhamed Camara from the NBA Academy Africa program committed to the Cardinals over UCF. Pat Kelsey and his staff have landed three players from the transfer portal and three players from the class of 2025, giving them excellent odds to win the 2026 National Championship.

However, the roster isn't completely filled out just yet, as the Cardinals have a couple of spots remaining. Last week, the Cardinals learned devastating news, as their projected starting center, Aly Khalifa, was ruled ineligible for the 2025-26 season. The Cardinals are appealing the decision, but it quickly put Louisville back in the spot to start recruiting.

Kelsey and Louisville basketball must address their center position, and after Camara committed to the Cardinals, it is evident what Louisville's No. 1 priority moving forward is. So, with that being said, here are four players that could follow Mouhamed Camara to the Louisville Cardinals.

4. Jamir Watkins

Jamir Watkins was the fans' No. 1 target entering Monday, but after Camara committed to Louisville, the Florida State transfer might be out of the question. Watkins is a 5-star transfer ranked as high as the seventh-best player to enter the portal.

The 6-foot-7-210 forward must decide whether to declare for the NBA Draft or withdraw by May 28. The Cardinals were early favorites to land Watkins, but after Camara's commitment, the small forward room is running out of room.

Of course, Watkins would become the starter and quickly elevate this program, but the Cardinals would then have Ryan Conwell, J'Vonne Hadley, Khani Rooths, Camara, and Kasean Pryor in their forward room.

Watkins earned All-ACC Second Team after averaging 18.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. The Florida State transfer is still a dream target for Louisville, and the fans and program would love him to commit to Kelsey's Cardinals, but at this point in the offseason, we are just not sure if it is realistic.
