2. Efton Reid
A position that is going to emerge as Louisville's No. 1 priority is the center position. The Cardinals have an extremely thin center room, and one of the best targets still available is Efton Reid from Wake Forest.
The former Demon Deacon was a 5-star recruit out of IMG Academy and played for Gonzaga and LSU before playing in the ACC with Wake Forest. Louisville needs someone with height, especially after Khalifa was denied the chance to play next season.
The 7-foot center weighs 250 pounds and would be a perfect paint presence player. He is ranked as the ninth best center to enter the portal and the 81st player overall.
Last season with Wake Forest, he played in all 34 games and averaged 8.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 54.8 percent from the floor.
The former Demon Deacon scored 10 points or more in 13 games, including his season-high 19 points against Cal. He also recorded three double-doubles, including one against Louisville, where he scored 11 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocks.
