1. Can Louisville's defense come through yet again?
The Cardinal defense has been outstanding this season in all aspects. The interior has given quarterbacks a tough time as Louisville has 16 sacks through six games and has piled up 98 sack yards. Then, when the quarterback is able to get the ball off, there’s a good chance the Cardinal secondary will be all over it. The Cardinals have 12 interceptions this season and have accumulated 26 pass deflections.
The Cardinals' defense has been the reason for major wins, as mentioned earlier, they forced Miami quarterback Carson Beck to throw four interceptions, which led to the upset of the No. 2 Hurricanes.
The Cardinals are allowing only 286.3 yards per game, which ranks their defense No. 14 in the country. If Louisville’s defense is able to produce the way they have the past couple of weeks, the Cardinals' worry of a trap game will be out the window fast.
