Louisville basketball is gearing up for a big 2025-26 season, and with it, they carry big expectations. The Cardinals enter the year No.11 in the nation and have the opportunity to do something special this year. This, however, is almost a practically new team, as only five players on the roster played for the Cardinals last year.
To go even further, the Cardinals only have one starter returning in J’Vonne Hadley. Hadley will most likely be given the leadership role on a Louisville team that will need to mesh quickly to stay competitive with its tough schedule.
Playing in the ACC and having almost a brand new team might be a recipe for disaster for a lot of teams, but I believe Louisville will take the challenge head-on and blow it out of the water.
