2. Either Isaac Brown or Keyjuan Brown
Louisville fans have accepted that sophomore running back Duke Watson will likely hit the portal. However, that makes it crucial that Louisville keep at least one of either Isaac Brown or Keyjuan Brown. The dream scenario would, of course, keep the Preseason All-American running back Isaac Brown.
The Cards' star running back returned to action after missing the last four games, and ran 10 times for 102 yards and two touchdowns. He earned just 101 carries while running 884 yards, and seven touchdowns. He averaged 8.8 yards per rush and ran over 100 yards in every game except two.
As for Keyjuan, he emerged as Louisville's star after Isaac went down. He quickly showed he can lead this team when he rushed for 94 yards or more in four straight games, including his 136 yards against Cal and 135 yards against Clemson. He earned 15 carries for 112 yards against Toledo in the bowl game, finishing the season with 96 carries for 704 yards and six touchdowns.
Louisville must keep at least one of these two-star running backs. If they can keep both, of course, that is the dream situation, but it feels like it is likely they can keep one at most.
