1. USF has two players who have made over 100 three-pointers

Louisville loves to shoot the three, attempting one on 52.8% of their total shots, which ranks 4th in the country. However, they are just 77th in three-point percentage at 35.7%, making 11.5 per game on 32.3 attempts. Because of that volume, players like Ryan Conwell, who has made 105 of 307 attempts (34.2%), and Isaac McKneely, who has made 86 of 226 (38.1%), carry much of the load.

What is surprising is that South Florida, despite taking fewer threes at 28.8 attempts per game and making 9.5, has two players who have each made over 100 this season. Wes Enis has made 107 of 293 attempts (36.5%), while Joseph Pinion has made 106 of 280 (37.9%). In an offense that is not as reliant on the three, that kind of production is impressive and dangerous. If Louisville cannot limit those two on the perimeter, it will have a hard time keeping up offensively.

Louisville has the talent and will likely have its star back, but the numbers show this is far from a comfortable matchup. If the Cardinals cannot control the glass, limit free throws, and keep up with the pace, this has all the makings of another 11-over-6 upset.
