1. Contain Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele
The California quarterback has put up impressive numbers this season, throwing for 2,195 yards and 11 touchdowns so far this year. Sagapolutele likes to use multiple different receivers in the passing game, as seven different players have a receiving touchdown this year for the Golden Bears.
Jacob De Jesus is his main receiver as he has 541 receiving yards along with three touchdowns. He also loves to use tight end Mason Mini, as he has 382 receiving yards and a team-high four receiving touchdowns.
Pressure seems to be the name of the game for the Cardinals this week, as Sagapolutele has been sacked 20 times this season and has thrown nine picks. If the Cardinals are able to disrupt him early, this game could get out of hand quickly. As long as Louisville doesn’t let Sagapolutele get into a rhythm, it should be able to contain California’s offense, and with it control the game.
