The Louisville Cardinals learned earlier this morning that they will face another blue-blood program this upcoming season, as the Kansas Jayhawks are scheduled to play the Cardinals in an exhibition game. This preseason matchup was a dream come true for Louisville basketball fans as the KFC Yum! Center is now hosting Kansas, Duke, and Kentucky all in the same year.
The Cardinals are playing 13 out-of-conference games this season after the ACC reduced its total number of conference games from 20 to 18. The Cardinals only have a handful of games remaining to schedule, as Louisville already has Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, the ACC/SEC Challenge, Cincinnati, and Memphis on their slate.
Louisville will also schedule some cupcake opponents, which means they don't have too many opportunities left for big-time matchups. So, with that being said, here are five dream opponents Louisville basketball must consider to fill out its schedule.

Creighton
What is better than the sweet taste of revenge? Louisville must consider adding the Creighton Bluejays, the team that ended their Final Four dreams last season and bounced the Cardinals in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
This would be a fun Big East vs ACC matchup, a matchup that doesn't happen often. Louisville has already found out they won't play St. John's next season, so why not go after the next-best team, the one that left a sour and bitter taste in your mouth?
Head coach Greg McDermott lost three of their best players from last season, but was able to have a massive offseason like the Cardinals. Creighton landed five 4-star transfers, including Josh Dix, who was ranked as the 19th best transfer and second best shooting guard.
A rematch between Creighton and Louisville would be a thrilling event, as it would feature two completely different teams from their last meeting in March.
