Ole Miss
This would be a fun matchup for the fans more so than the programs. Louisville would get to play their former star center, James Scott, and former guard, Koren Johnson. Both former Cardinals transferred to Ole Miss this offseason following the Cardinals' significant additions.
Scott started in the majority of the Cardinals' games and averaged 7.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, shooting the ball at 75.5 percent from the field. Johnson played in only two games before suffering a season-ending injury and averaged 3.0 points in those two games.
Ole Miss brought in five players this offseason and will feature a new look, as they also added the Kentucky native phenom Travis Perry and the former Wisconsin star AJ Storr. Both players had a down year last season, as Storr averaged just 6.1 points in his lone year with Kansas.
This matchup would be a solid test for Louisville, but it should yield a Power Five win and serve as a resume-builder against an SEC team.
