5 eye-opening reasons Nate Ament will commit to Louisville basketball
So, as Louisville basketball fans anxiously await this massive decision, we are here to list the five glaring reasons why Nate Ament will commit to Louisville basketball.
5. Pat Kelsey
Louisville basketball's head coach is a glaring reason Nate Ament is considering the Cardinals. Kelsey is one of the best recruiters in the nation and knows how to land elite recruits. In his first year, he brought in 12 transfer portal players, including Chucky Hepburn, the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-ACC.
"They have also been very consistent, and I love Coach Kelsey's enthusiasm, and Coach Carr." Ament stated.
Kelsey also made Cardinals history as he landed the second highest recruit in the Cardinals 111 years. The Cardinals head coach has a lot of respect in this league and continues to earn respect around the league as he resurrected this program from the dead.
"Louisville really came on strong, and he (Ament) got a really good relationship with that coaching staff and there is a lot of trust." On3's Joe Tipton stated about Ament and Pat Kelsey.
Louisville won a total of 12 games combined in their previous two seasons and Kelsey arrived and brought Louisville to the NCAA Tournament and their first-ever ACC Tournament championship game.
The Cardinals coaching staff proved this past season that they are one of the best in the staff. Kelsey has this Cardinals program trending in the right direction, and while other coaches has developed NBA players, Ament would be given a tremendous opportunity to play under Kelsey and alongside that historic 5-star commit.
