4. Cardinals will dominte the Transfer Portal
Brown committed to Louisville, and look what the program was able to do to support him. The Cardinals arguably had one of the best Transfer Portal classes in the nation, and surrounded Brown with the best shooters in the country.
Louisville spent millions of dollars on this 2025-26 roster because Brown committed to the Cardinals, and they want to make this year a special one. If Kinney commits to the Cardinals, one Louisville might earn multiple 5-star commitments from the 2026 class, but second, they have just shown the 5-star point guard that they will go all-in on the Transfer Portal and surround him with elite veterans who fit his game.
It will be hard to beat Louisville in the Transfer Portal, and Kelsey just made that clear this past offseason. With Kinney committing to Louisville, the Cardinals would hit the portal hard again, just like they did the past two offseasons, and would create another National Title-contending roster.
