Louisville football recently landed elite Ohio State transfer Lincoln Kienholz. The Cardinals were in dire need of a quarterback after losing three backups to the portal and Miller Moss to graduation. So, now that Louisville has secured its QB1 early in this portal window, the Cards are quickly trying to build out the rest of their roster.
Louisville has been heavily involved in multiple transfers and has already landed key visits with many of them. Brohm adding his quarterback early on has already worked miracles for them, as it allowed him to keep star running back Isaac Brown, and now, hopefully, the domino effect continues to fall the Cardinals' way.
So, with Louisville securing Kienholz’s commitment, here are five game-changing players who could follow Lincoln Kienholz to the Louisville Cardinals.
5. Tegra Tshabola
An area Louisville has been targeting in the portal, but has yet to earn a commitment from, is the offensive line. Louisville has been in contact with multiple key transfers, but someone worth reaching out to is Ohio State transfer Tegra Tshabola.
The former 4-star recruit out of high school ranked as high as No. 36 in the 2022 recruiting class and was the sixth-best offensive tackle. However, after starting for the Buckeyes in the last two seasons, he has entered the transfer portal as the No. 730 transfer and the No. 62 offensive lineman.
The 6-foot-6, 332 linemen was a key linemen for Ohio State, and now, with Louisville in dire need of offensive linemen depth, he opens up as a big-time option. The Cardinals will lose every starter from last season, and with Tshabola’s experience, he is someone Louisville should definitely target.
