3. Can Louisville limit the turnovers?
The Cardinals had way too many turnovers last game, and they have to take care of the ball better moving forward. Louisville as a team had 20 turnovers in its 2025-26 debut, and Kelsey made sure to emphasize after the game the Cards must be smarter with the ball.
Aly Khalifa had some impressive passes in the first half of the last game, but five turnovers from your backup center is way too high. Incoming 5-star transfer Adrian Wooley and key returner Kobe Rodgers also came off the bench, and while they showed flashes of brilliance and a spark of energy, they added seven turnovers total. Louisville's backup had 12 turnovers against Kansas, which isn't a good recipe for success. The Cards have to play better in their half-court offense and settle down, and not be go-go-go.
Of course, it is just the first couple of games and a new roster, so the team will need some time to build chemistry, but they cannot be turning the ball over 20 times.
