1. How will Mikel Brown Jr. look atfer he struggled against Kansas?

Mikel Brown Jr. struggled in his college basketball debut, but luckily for him, it doesn't count—it was just a preseason game. The true freshman was seen after the game getting shots up with assistant coaches, showing just how motivated this 5-star is and how special a player he is.

He shot 2-15 from the floor and 2-10 from beyond the arc against Kansas and finished with 10 points, five rebounds, and two assists. The 6-foot-5 point guard is a preseason All-ACC guard and recently made the Bob Cousy Point Guard Preseason Watch List, proving this 5-star is poised for a massive freshman season. However, it will be worth watching how he bounces back from his debut and how Kelsey plans to use him as a point guard.

The 5-star has to take smarter shots and be that explosive guard we saw in his FIBA U19 run this past summer. He is an elite 3-point shooter, but it will be crucial for him to attack the defense and either kick out for a 3-point shot or finish at the cup. No one is worried about Brown Jr. and his future, but for the last preseason game, the fans would like to see the freshman play a bit calmer and let the game come to him.
