5. Preston Bowman - WR
A position the Cardinals are recruiting heavily in right now is the wide receiver group. Louisville lost six of its top seven wide receivers from last year, and is only expected to bring back Antonio Meeks. So, with the Cards in dire need of a wide receiver, Kentucky transfer Preston Bowman opens up as a good option.
Louisville is recruiting some big-time wide receivers like DeAndre Moore Jr. and Wyatt Young. And so if Louisville wants to go get some depth at a low price so they can give Moore and Young the money they will ask for, then Bowman is a good choice.
The Kentucky transfer ranks as the No. 731 transfer in the portal, and is No. 131 in the wide receiver position. The 5-foot-11 receiver was recruited by Vince Marrow out of high school and committed to Kentucky over Louisville, Michigan, and Ohio State. Now, he is in the portal as a freshman, and with Louisville needing a lot of depth in this position, he is a nice, safe option to bring to the team.
