4. Javeon Campbell - DL
The Cardinals' defense needs a lot of help on the defensive line, and a player to keep an eye on is Kentucky transfer Javeon Campbell, who is known for his impressive size and ability to disrupt opposing offenses. It was rumored that the Cardinals are in contact with Campbell and his party as the Kentucky transfer entered the portal on December 30.
Coming out of Frankfort, Kentucky, Campbell was a highly recruited native of the state, attracting attention from several major programs. The true freshman was ranked as a consensus 4-star recruit and was ranked as high as the No. 2 recruit out of Kentucky and the No. 277 recruit in the 2025 recruiting class. He ended up committing to Kentucky over big-time programs like Miami, Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Louisville.
But now, Marrow will look to earn his commitment once more, but this time for the red and black. He is ranked No. 363 overall on the portal and 30th among defensive linemen. With how high his ceiling is, and Louisville needing depth in this unit, Campbell opens up as an excellent option for Brohm’s defense.
