4. Sananda Fru
Sananda Fru is a commitment from overseas as the German forward is expected to have a crucial role this upcoming season for the Cardinals' frontcourt. The 6-foot-11 245 245-pound forward was ranked as high as No. 25 in the 2025 recruiting class and was a 4-star prospect.
Fru is an athletic big man who can run the floor and become the Cardinals' dominant lob threat. He is also an excellent rim protector at his size and has a chance to be Louisville's starting center for game one. Fru is coming off his best season after he won the BBL's Best German Young Player award. He averaged 12.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 0.9 steals, and 1.6 blocks per game, while shooting 66.8% from the field.
It will come down to Fru or Aly Khalifa to start, but with Fru already generating some NBA buzz, the elite forward will most likely get the nod to start game one in the 2025-26 season.
