5. Mouhamed Camara
A player some fans might have forgotten about is the Senegal native, Mouhamed Camara. With Louisville desperately needing help in its frontcourt, especially on the defensive end, it will be interesting to see if Camara takes a leap and has a role next year.
He is an athletic forward who can jump out of the gym but is also a menace on defense. Camara committed to Louisville after playing the past two years with the NBA Academy Africa, where he absolutely stacked the stat sheet, averaging 10.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.8 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game, while shooting 60.0 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from 3-point range.
The 6-foot-8 and 215-pound forward could be Louisville’s secret X-factor that nobody is talking about. He is an elite athlete who can make an impact on both ends of the floor, and with Louisville desperately needing an athletic forward who can protect the rim and make plays defensively, Louisville fans should be excited for the 4-star commit. Camara ranked as high as No. 212 overall and No. 43 among power forwards.
