1. Adrian Wooley

Towards the end of the season, Louisville fans really began to see why Adrian Wooley was ranked as high as No. 9 in the Transfer Portal and was a 5-star transfer. Wooley should be at the top of Pat Kelsey’s list, as he should do almost whatever it takes to bring back the elite guard.

We expect Wooley to return, making him the biggest player returning to Louisville next season. The 5-star transfer averaged 8.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 0.7 steals per game, and shot 45 percent from the field and 35 percent from 3-point range. However, in the games Wooley started, Louisville fans saw how talented he is and that he just needs more experience and reps with the starting unit.

Next season, Louisville fans should expect a Wooley to take a huge leap, and with him likely to start, he will be closer to the player he was in his true freshman season when he averaged 18.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 51.2 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from beyond the arc. Wooley is a star in the making, and if he does end up returning, he will be Louisville’s best returning player.
