2. Bryce Underwood
It would definitely be a challenge to land a talent like Bryce Underwood, but the Cardinals at least have to throw their hat in the ring. Underwood had a solid season considering the run-heavy style of play for Michigan, and the fact that he is just a freshman.
Underwood threw for 2,229 yards this season, along with nine touchdowns. He completed 61.1% of his passes, but will need to continue to be coached as he threw six interceptions and was sacked 17 times. He didn’t just make an impact with his arm, as the young quarterback also rushed for 323 yards and five rushing touchdowns.
As mentioned earlier, it won’t be easy to land Underwood as a lot of big-spending colleges are looking to poach him. However, that doesn’t mean the Cardinals can’t give it their all and see if they can get their next quarterback of the future.
