Aly Khalifa and Brown should form a lethal guard and center duo. With Khalifa's ability to pass and shoot, and Brown's ability to weave through the lane and playmake, this duo should cause nightmares for the Cardinals' opponents.
Khalifa splashed 97 3-pointers across his three seasons on 35.7 percent shooting from beyond the arc. With Brown now leading this team, Khalifa and Brown will run a two-man game that will allow these two to play freely. Khalifa has tallied 315 assists in his three seasons, which is 3.5 assists per game. Now, add a 5-star point guard who can dominate all phases of the game, and Khalifa is going to become a nightmare for the defenses.
Brown compared Khalifa to Nikola Jokić, and Kelsey stated that he is a top-five passer in the world at his size. Khalifa can set some big-time screens and either roll to the rim with Brown and let the 5-star playmake, or pop for a jumpshot. Expect Khalifa's passing ability to take the nation by storm, and for him to find Brown on some crazy cuts.
