Kohe Rodgers
Someone who came over to Louisville from Charleston with Pat Kelsey is backup point guard Kobe Rodgers. The point guard really stepped up his minutes in the postseason with the Cards without Mikel Brown Jr., as Pat Kelsey gave Rodgers high praise, calling him their glaring X-factor in their win over USF.
Rodgers averaged 9.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.2 steals in Charleston and was a big piece off the bench, making the All-CAA Tournament Team and helping lead the Cougars to the NCAA Tournament after winning the conference tournament. He would then tear his ACL against Alabama in the first round, forcing him to sit out and redshirt all of last year after he transferred to Louisville.
This season, he was a big piece off the bench, giving the Cards a boost on both ends of the floor. The Cincinnati, Ohio, averaged 3.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 0.9 steals per game while shooting 46.8 percent from the field.
