Louisville basketball is taking on its first test of the year as the Kentucky Wildcats come to town Tuesday night. Even though it’s only the third game of the year for both teams, this game is thought by many to be the biggest game of the year for Louisville.
The Cardinals have dominated so far this season, scoring a combined 210 points in their first two games, which has led to a 2-0 start. However, Kentucky has had the same brand of dominance and also comes into the matchup 2-0. This will be a battle for early-season bragging rights, as this game could be a huge resume booster come March for the team that wins.
For Louisville to pull off a win, it will have to play its best basketball of the year. Let’s take a look at five players the Cardinals need to step up to take down the Wildcats.
