Adrian Wooley
The Cardinals had to hit the transfer portal due to losing multiple key players in the offseason. The first transfer to join the program was 5-star Adrian Wooley. The Kennesaw State transfer had a tremendous true freshman season last season, and that is why he was ranked No. 9 in the portal.
Wooley will join the upcoming dominant backcourt that the Cardinals have built, but he will most likely start the season on the bench. That shows how stacked this roster is, but the 5-star has all the skills to start at some point this season. Wooley is just what the Cardinals need, a genuine playmaker off the bench. He averaged 18.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game last season. His skill set does not stop there; he is an athletic two-way defender and can hit the three-ball.
Since he was the first transfer in the offseason, Wooley has flown under the radar, but he will soon have the opportunity to showcase his talents to the fan base. He will be a key piece to the Cardinals' success and a significant factor in determining how far this team advances.
